The Beatles: Their New, New Look
Beatles flash new look to the world as they gather around for some quick picture sessions to kick off their release of “Strawberry Fields” and “Penny Lane.” It was chilly, but the Beatles don’t seem to mind, ’cause all the hair they’re sporting kept the guys from freezing to death. Would you believe that groovy beard on George?
Still waiting for production to begin on their third film, the Beatles surprised all by posing for publicity shots kicking off the release of their last single “Penny Lane” and “Strawberry Fields Forever.” Though their outward appearances are totally different from the four boys who captured our hearts in 1963, John, Paul, Ringo, and George haven’t really changed much inside. They’re still the same talented wonderful people they’ve always been. And what’s more, they put down all rumours that they’ll quit. They may do some individual projects, but the Beatles will be around for many, many years to come.
The Beatles in 1963 looked like this. They’re made quite a change in the past three years. [Above], you see the Masters of music creating a new sound to blow our minds. Would you believe—Napoleon Bonaparts? Paul doesn’t either, but John likes the pose.
